Program description

Users can opt in to receive one-to-one conversational text messages from Dan Haines and dhaines.dev for AI assistant replies, support-style follow-up, and user-requested status updates related to their interaction.

Signup workflow

  1. 1. A user chooses to start or continue a text conversation with dhaines.dev from the website or app.
  2. 2. The user enters a mobile number and manually checks an unchecked consent box agreeing to receive conversational SMS messages.
  3. 3. The consent language tells the user that message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, and they can reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
  4. 4. The user is shown links to the Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions at the time of consent.
  5. 5. After the form is submitted, the user receives a confirmation text before ongoing conversational messages are sent.
