Program description
Users can opt in to receive one-to-one conversational text messages from Dan Haines and dhaines.dev for AI assistant replies, support-style follow-up, and user-requested status updates related to their interaction.
Signup workflow
- 1. A user chooses to start or continue a text conversation with dhaines.dev from the website or app.
- 2. The user enters a mobile number and manually checks an unchecked consent box agreeing to receive conversational SMS messages.
- 3. The consent language tells the user that message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, and they can reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
- 4. The user is shown links to the Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions at the time of consent.
- 5. After the form is submitted, the user receives a confirmation text before ongoing conversational messages are sent.
